Yet, adaptation, the key stage informing the rest of the process, is often handled outside that structure. Many adapters work independently, with limited access to the broader project context of production, casting, scheduling, and downstream audio workflows. While the industry relies on established B2B vendors for every other stage of the dubbing process, there has generally been no equivalent studio-level model for adaptation.
